These pages showcase some of the clothing I have made for myself and my lord in the SCA. To reduce the number of images per page, I have separated the clothing by garment type.

Linen Tunic

This is a tunic that I made for my lord, who has a 12th century Norman persona. The tunic is made from a light red linen/cotton blend. I used what I call "rectangular construction": the sleeves and body are rectangles, there are underarm gussets and triangular size gores.

The tunic is trimmed along the neck, hems, cuff and shoulder/sleeve seam. The trim is metallic gold on a black background with orange and turquoise highlights.

Wool Tunic

This tunic is made from red wool gabardine, cut in the same manner as described above. The neck, hem and cuffs are trimmed with blue wool and purchased trim. The trim is silver scrolling leaves/vines on a black background. The scrolling vegetation motif is common in contemporary artwork.
